How do we make a booking?

Do drop us an email or an Instagram Direct Message. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be collected to secure the booking slot.

What payment modes are accepted?

We accept bank transfers, credit card and PayNow.

Are we able to rent the studio and engage external photography / videography services?

Yes, our studio is available for rent for external purposes. The minimum booking period is 2 hours.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule? Is my deposit refundable?

The deposit paid is non refundable as we have to make up for the opportunity cost incurred for having reserved the slot for you. In the event that rescheduling is needed, please let us know at least 3 working days in advance, otherwise there will be a fee of $100 imposed for late rescheduling. 

Are we able to come early to set up?

A grace period of 15 mins can be granted if there are no conflicting bookings prior. Do check with us on this.

FAQ

Would a one hour booking suffice if I have a big family?

For big families of above 8 pax, we highly recommend going for the 1.5 hour session instead. Our photographer can advise further on this as well after you have made the booking.

Will we be able to extend the session during the shoot?

Yes, but this is dependent on the availability of our photographer and the studio space. You can check with us while on set.

Are we able to purchase a shoot session as a gift?

We do gift card purchases, speak to us to find out more.

Will we be able to engage our own stylist to come over and do the setup for our shoot?

Stylists are welcomed. Do note that the time required to set up and tear down need to be factored into the time slot that you have booked. 

What are some of the things to note before making a booking?

Do ensure that all participants are punctual and that they abide by the house rules. If we have a booking following yours, we will have to strictly abide by the time slot regardless of the reason.

02 STUDIO

Does your studio come with a bathroom and changing room?

We have a private space that allows for changing of outfits. There is a common toilet on our level. 

Does the building provide parking?

One Tannery building has a multi storey carpark. It comes with both cargo and passenger lifts too.

How often do you refresh the setup in Studio Lucid?

Generally, we give the studio a makeover every 6 months. You can check on the latest set up on our website or you can subscribe to our newsletter to get the latest updates.

Are we able to move the furniture around?

Should you be renting our space for external usage, our sets are completely modular and can be shifted around in the studio to fit your needs. Do take note that you will have to put the furniture and lighting equipment back in its original place after the shoot has been done.

How many photos can we expect?

For an hour booking, you can expect about 40-60 images and it varies with each family. Should there be more good photos, we are happy to return them at no additional cost. Raw photos will not be returned as they are deemed as unfinished product and not representative of the work that we do. 

What would be the lead time for photos?

In the event that you require our team for photography, the lead time will be 3 weeks for the final photos to be returned.

Can you retouch flaws in the returned images?

All the images returned will be colour edited, which includes correcting the exposure and colours. 

There will be additional cost for requests of retouching images. Please speak to our photographer so we can advise on the appropriate cost.

Do you provide retouching services?

Editing is the process of working on the colours of our images, and that includes making changes to the exposure and other relative adjustments. Retouching services, if required, entail an additional charge.

04 Kids & Pets

Does Studio Lucid provide props for kids?

We have toys catered for small children, and you can speak to our photographer about it. We do allow families to bring along their own props too as long as it is befitting of the theme of the shoot. 

Are pets allowed in the studio?

Yes, pets are welcomed in our space. However, you will need to be responsible for your pets and to clean up after them. Please bring along the necessary for your pets to relieve themselves. Cleaning fee will be imposed in the event that our space or furniture is soiled.

Are cake smashes allowed?

Yes it is, but a $30 clean up fee will be imposed for all cake smash shoots.

05 outfits & makeup

Would you provide outfit tips?

We generally advise against loud prints and neon colours. Keep prints to a minimum for a clean and cohesive look for your shoot. We allow shoes on set as well. Our photographer will be happy to assist in planning your wardrobe for you. 

Are we allowed to change outfits during the shoot?

This is entirely dependent on the duration that you have booked for. Generally, for our one hour family sessions, a change of outfit is not encouraged as there would not be sufficient time for the shoot to be comfortably paced. We prioritise the experience greatly and would not want it to be a rushed session.

Does Studio Lucid provide makeup services as well as outfits?

We do not provide outfits and makeup services. However, we are happy to recommend trusted makeup artists to you.
